D'Andrea Willis

Young public relations professional with strong motivation to become a well-trained, influential, social media guru

. D'Andrea Sheree Willis is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with a May 2014 graduation date from the University of Texas at Arlington.  She currently works for LifeTime Fitness as the Member Services Supervisor. 

 

Her coursework has been focused on a mixture of traditional public relations techniques and new media techniques such as social media marketing.  During her time at UTArlington, she has worked on developing campaigns for hypothetical clients such as BlendTec and Fort Worth Directions Home, and has developed strategies for non-profit clients of Arise International, and Afiya Corp. 

 

Of her courses at UTArlington, D'Andrea particularly enjoyed her strategic social media class which gave her insight into the social media aspect of public relations.  This class included various speakers from industry professionals that had experience in the social media world.  

 

D'Andrea is a prospective professional and has her priorities set on getting an internship that will boost her knowledge and hands-on experience regarding public relations.  D'Andrea is also a hobby crafter and enthusiastic thespian.
